Director of Electrical Engineering
We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Director of Electrical Engineering to lead and expand our Electrical Division. This role combines leadership, client engagement, and technical expertise in electric motors and large drive systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, experience in sales and consulting, and a passion for driving innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Electrical Division, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to support technical sales efforts and drive business development.
- Interface directly with clients to understand their needs, provide expert consultation, and deliver tailored engineering solutions.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee technical projects involving electric motors and large drive systems, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within engineering, with a strong focus on sales and client consulting.
- Deep technical knowledge of electric motors and large drive systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to grow and lead a technical division.
