Core Responsibilities
Strategic Direction: Define and execute engineering strategies that support growth, efficiency, and innovation. Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Align team capacity with project demands.
Project Execution: Manage the design and delivery of automation systems. Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Technical Oversight: Guide technology selection, system architecture, and integration practices. Establish and maintain engineering standards and version control protocols.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all systems meet regulatory and safety requirements. Develop risk mitigation strategies and maintain documentation standards.
Resource Management: Oversee budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities. Support coordination with other departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Experience: 10+ years in engineering, including 3+ years in leadership.
- Skills:
- Expertise in automation, robotics, PLCs, and system integration.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with safety standards and manufacturing processes.
- Strong project management and communication abilities.
- Experience with BOMs, MRP systems, and continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to support production schedules and urgent issues.
- Occasional travel for supplier visits or training.
- Ability to work on-site for equipment and process evaluations.
