Electrical Construction Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of complex electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plant projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates clearly, and has hands-on experience managing electrical scopes in the water infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the electrical components of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects from planning through commissioning.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and procurement for electrical systems.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Lead progress meetings, track milestones, and maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Support estimating teams and contribute to preconstruction planning as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager working specifically on water or wastewater treatment plants.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of electrical systems common to treatment facilities, including MCCs, switchgear, instrumentation, and control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Accubid estimating software is a strong plus.
- Background in design-build or EPC delivery environments.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with municipal clients or large infrastructure programs.
