About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in either Cincinnati or Cleveland. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of building projects while enjoying flexibility and a collaborative studio environment.
You'll be responsible for designing electrical systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, and civic buildings, contributing to projects that make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for building projects.
- Develop construction documents and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to support design and construction.
- Participate in client meetings and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Support project delivery from concept through construction administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for buildings.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IBC).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- PE license preferred or on track to obtain.
