Electrical Engineer
We're a full-service engineering firm with a growing presence in the Southeast, and we're looking for a driven Electrical Engineer to join our Greenville, SC office. What You'll Do:
- Lead the design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting (interior/exterior), fire alarms, and building support systems.
- Guide and mentor electrical designers, ensuring quality and innovation in every project.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, code officials, utilities, and other internal teams.
- Perform detailed calculations and seal drawings where licensed.
- Design power systems with precision: panelboards, switchboards, transformers, generators, and more.
- Execute lighting design using tools like ElumTools or Lithonia Visual.
- Ensure energy code compliance and fire alarm system design.
- Contribute to construction administration, field inspections, and specification writing.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design across diverse building types.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- PE license required.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead meetings and present ideas.
- Deep knowledge of NEC, NFPA codes, energy codes, and CSI MasterFormat specs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience with SKM or similar modeling software is a plus.
- A collaborative spirit and a proactive mindset.
