Electrical Pre-Construction Manager
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping project outcomes from the ground up. They'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure pre-construction efforts are aligned with both design intent and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Development on proposals, presentations, and client-facing engagements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, Architects, and Engineering firms.
- Lead the development of estimates and feasibility studies across all design stages.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, constructability assessments, and scheduling.
- Identify new project opportunities and monitor market trends.
- Analyze subcontractor proposals and cost data.
- Support the creation of construction schedules for estimating purposes.
- Collaborate with operations to define staffing needs and assemble project teams.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a Pre-Construction Manager or Estimating role.
- Strong background in large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
- Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with Accubid and/or Conest is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a stable career history.
