This role involves working closely with senior engineering staff from initial conceptual design through construction and commissioning on a variety of facility projects. You'll be part of a diverse and experienced team, tackling complex challenges and contributing to high-impact solutions across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical design computations and develop construction cost estimates.
- Design building electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency power, fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and communication systems.
- Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Attend client meetings and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Apply NEC, IBC, NFPA, and other relevant codes to electrical design work.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, telecom, or security systems design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Autodesk CADD, and Revit.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-office team environment.
- Must pass a motor vehicle screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Bentley MicroStation.
- Familiarity with SKM Power Tools, ETAP, AGi32, or ElumTools.
- Experience with electrical testing equipment.
- Background working with federal, state, and local government agencies and codes.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.
