We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects throughout Houston, TX. This role will be responsible for field execution on projects including restaurants, administrative buildings, and high-rise commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all on-site electrical activities from project start through completion
- Coordinate daily field operations, manpower, and schedules to meet project milestones
- Work closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth coordination
- Interpret and enforce construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC and local Houston codes
- Manage subcontractors, foremen, and electricians on-site
- Track progress, identify issues, and proactively resolve field conflicts
- Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics
- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Lead Foreman on commercial projects
- Strong background in ground-up commercial construction
- Experience on projects such as restaurants, office/admin buildings, and mid- to high-rise structures
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and electrical codes
- Proven leadership and ability to manage crews and schedules under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- OSHA certification preferred
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred but not required
