About the Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the success of our substation projects by delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical substation construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
- Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive bid proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to gather pricing and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material pricing, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimating.
- At least 2 years of direct experience working on substation projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, substation components, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
