Salary: $80,000- $110,000
Job Description: This firm is a leading Heavy Civil General Contractor, seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Engineer to join their team in Springfield, OR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and oversee construction projects in the field. As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of their heavy civil projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data for project planning.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy civil infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of project progress and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a field engineering role within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing heavy civil projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with site surveys, data collection, and analysis.
- Familiarity with industry-standard engineering software and tools.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
