A well-established multidisciplinary engineering firm with a strong presence in Atlanta is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for entry‑level to early‑career engineers to gain exposure to complex, high-impact projects across healthcare, higher education, research, and commercial markets.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment focused on learning, mentorship, and long-term growth.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the design and development of fire protection and MEP‑T systems using Revit and discipline-specific tools
- Perform basic calculations and simulations
- Support senior engineers with plans, designs, and technical analysis
- Assist with review of shop drawings and product submittals
- Respond to RFIs for assigned project scope
- Participate in supervised site visits and prepare field documentation
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Contribute to internal project meetings and coordination efforts
- Complete tasks in accordance with project schedules and QA/QC standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 0-6 years of experience
- Familiarity with Revit and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of building systems and engineering fundamentals
- EIT, PE, or similar credentials preferred, not required
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
