Key Responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical investigations, including drilling oversight, soil sampling, and subsurface evaluations.
- Analyze geotechnical data to prepare engineering reports, recommendations, and foundation designs.
- Conduct slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, and pavement subgrade analyses.
- Oversee field explorations, laboratory testing programs, and construction material evaluations.
- Provide technical support during project planning, design, and construction phases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery.
- Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable engineering standards, codes, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
- 3-8+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including field and analytical project components.
- Strong proficiency with geotechnical software.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively both independently and within a team.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with construction materials testing and inspection services-areas where the firm has long‑standing expertise.
- Familiarity with environmental and infrastructure consulting disciplines.
- Previous work supporting municipal, transportation, commercial, educational, or industrial sector clients.
