A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on a variety of infrastructure and site development projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in utilities, earthwork, grading, and roadway construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Manage utility, earthwork, grading, and site development activities
- Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
- Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, and clients
- Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in utilities, earthwork, grading, roadway, or site development projects
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Proven leadership and crew management experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- OSHA certification preferred
