The Role
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the delivery of commercial and industrial HVAC projects from contract award through completion. This role is responsible for planning, execution, financial performance, and client satisfaction across multiple projects.
You'll work closely with engineering, operations, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC projects from initial handover through to final close‑out
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and external partners
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee scope control, change management, and risk mitigation
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety policies
- Track project costs, forecasts, and margins, reporting progress to leadership
- Lead project meetings, site walk‑throughs, and progress reviews
- Support commissioning, documentation, and project handover activities
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within HVAC, mechanical, or building systems
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, and project workflows
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong commercial awareness, including cost control and contract management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience working on commercial or industrial HVAC projects
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Familiarity with air quality, filtration, or controlled environment systems
