Assistant Project Manager (APM)


Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the delivery of large‑scale civil and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow their technical and managerial capabilities while contributing to impactful, high‑visibility work.

What You'll Do

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and daily project coordination
  • Support the management of subcontractors, vendors, and onsite teams to maintain schedule and quality
  • Track project costs, forecasts, RFIs, submittals, and detailed documentation
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical materials
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site
  • Provide both field and office support as needed to keep work progressing
  • Build effective relationships with clients, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or management
    ‑ Civil, heavy construction, mechanical, or industrial project experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • A proactive approach to safety, quality, and team collaboration
