Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate has experience designing interiors for both public and private sector projects, with a strong understanding of how to balance aesthetics, functionality, and durability. You will work closely with architects, consultants, and clients to bring interior environments to life from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interior design concepts for hospitality, civic, and institutional projects.
  • Select and specify FF&E, finishes, materials, and lighting that align with project goals and budgets.
  • Produce interior design documentation including plans, elevations, details, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with architects and consultants to ensure cohesive integration of interior and architectural elements.
  • Prepare presentation materials and participate in client and stakeholder meetings.
  • Conduct product research and maintain knowledge of current design trends and materials.
  • Support construction administration by reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and conducting site visits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 4-8+ years of professional experience in interior design, preferably with hospitality projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools (e.g., Enscape, SketchUp).
  • Strong knowledge of materials, codes, ADA, and sustainability standards.
  • Excellent design sensibility and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • NCIDQ certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
