Water Resources Engineer (4-7 Years Experience) - Fort Myers, FL
We're recruiting for a mid-level Water Resources Engineer to join a dynamic team in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a role ideal for someone with strong technical capabilities and a passion for solving complex water resource challenges.
The successful candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in water resources or civil/environmental engineering, with either an active PE license or a clear plan to obtain one within the next 6 months. This role is highly technical and hands-on, requiring proficiency across a wide range of engineering software and tools.

- ArcGIS Pro

- HEC-RAS 1D/2D
- Hydraflow Express
- HydroCAD
- StormWise / ICPR4
Project Experience Should Include:
- Designing and permitting stormwater management systems for residential, commercial, and municipal developments
- Performing floodplain analyses, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and surface water management planning
- Supporting CLOMR/LOMR applications and FEMA coordination for flood zone revisions
- Preparing technical reports, cost estimates, and client presentations
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple concurrent assignments
- Contributing to drainage improvement projects, water main extensions, and regional flow-way system designs
- Collaborating with local agencies and stakeholders to meet South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and county permitting criteria
