Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled and motivated Civil Site Engineer / Project Manager to join a growing team in Toledo. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in land development and site design, who is ready to take on project leadership responsibilities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead civil/site design efforts for a range of development projects, supporting both direct client work and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Manage projects from initial due diligence through approvals, permitting, final design, and construction.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinate team workloads and ensure timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with leadership on resource planning, staff development, and strategic growth.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
- Contribute to marketing strategies and help secure work with higher education institutions, commercial developers, and national clients.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff across multiple offices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio and/or Michigan.
- 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development and site design.
- Proven project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
- Strong proposal writing and business development skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
