Their infrastructure and pump station-based groups provide support for numerous one-of-a-kind water and wastewater conveyance projects supporting critical systems that keep our environment safe and clean. Their vision is to become the best water consulting firm, and they are looking for motivated, talented people to help reach that goal.
Our client is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects (pipelines and pump stations). As part of their team, you will work on infrastructure projects related to the conveyance of water and wastewater to help create sustainable and resilient communities. The infrastructure team prefers in-person collaboration on their projects.
Responsibilities
- Performing engineering work in water and wastewater pump stations and conveyance infrastructure.
- Working on engineering planning and design projects.
- Preparing reports.
- Developing plans and specifications.
- Preparing cost estimates for various projects.
- Hydraulic system modeling.
- Developing alternative analysis of design options.
- Preparing technical memoranda reports and electronic deliverables.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starter.
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and mentors.
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a consulting engineer with a Professional Engineering License.
