We are seeking an experienced Lead Controls Installer to join our Building Automation team. In this role, you will take ownership of installation activities for advanced Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Installation Activities: Oversee and perform the installation of building automation systems, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and related hardware, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Project Teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to plan and execute installation tasks efficiently, resolving issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
- System Integration & Wiring: Ensure proper wiring, terminations, and device integration for HVAC, lighting, and other building systems, following best practices and manufacturer guidelines.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct thorough system checks, verify functionality, and assist in commissioning activities to guarantee optimal system performance.
- Mentor & Train Team Members: Provide guidance and technical support to junior installers, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Client Interaction: Represent TekPlan Solutions professionally during site visits and handovers, ensuring client satisfaction and confidence in the installed systems.
