Senior Electrical Engineer - Specialized Design

Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $150,000-$220,000/year
Position Overview
A well-established engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex infrastructure projects within its Specialized Design team. This role offers the opportunity to manage multidisciplinary efforts, drive technical innovation, and contribute to high-impact initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design from initial survey through final inspection.
- Direct and mentor engineering and design teams.
- Conduct field surveys and identify non-compliant conditions.
- Develop construction drawing packages and specifications.
- Perform systems integration, testing, and PLC programming.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 10-15+ years of MEP experience
- PE license
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and project leadership skills
Preferred Experience
- Critical power systems (UPS, generators, transfer switches)
- Control systems and telemetry
- PV and Energy Storage Systems design
- Industrial/network communications protocols
- SKM or ETAP software
- Technical writing and training
- Engineering project management
