Lead Estimator - Design/Build Construction
We're looking for a seasoned Lead Estimator to join our growing design/build company in Atlanta. This is a key leadership role where you'll take ownership of cost estimating across all phases of a project - from schematic design through to construction documents - while guiding a team of estimators and collaborating closely with operations and preconstruction leadership.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the estimating process and developing execution plans for upcoming projects.
- Mentoring junior estimators and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to verify scope and pricing.
- Supporting buyout efforts and collaborating with operations teams.
- Organizing scope sheets and performing quantity takeoffs across all divisions.
- Managing bid-day activities and presenting final estimates to senior leadership.
- Staying current on market trends, pricing, and construction costs.
What We're Looking For:
- 5-10 years of estimating experience in the construction industry, ideally within design/build.
- Strong technical knowledge across structural, civil, fire protection, and MEP systems.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
