A nationally recognized engineering firm is expanding its technology integration team and seeking a Low Voltage Technology Designer with hands-on experience in telecom room, pathway, and cabling design. This is a chance to join a collaborative, forward-thinking group working across healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Design telecom rooms, pathways, and communications cabling systems
- Coordinate with architects, design teams, and clients
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications
- Conduct field assessments and inspections
- Mentor junior team members
- Stay current with industry standards and technologies
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in low voltage technology design
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
- Strong understanding of in-building and outside plant cabling systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- RCDD certification preferred
- Field experience and detailed design proficiency
