We are seeking a Manager, Financial Analysis - Corporate Development to provide analytical expertise and deal structuring guidance for acquisitions, asset enhancements, and development of new projects aligned with the company's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analyses to support investment opportunities, including acquisitions and new asset development.
  • Conduct research and due diligence on potential opportunities to inform robust financial models and business cases.
  • Develop and analyze complex financial models to evaluate investments within corporate risk and tax profiles, identifying synergies and value creation.
  • Provide financial guidance to leadership through comprehensive business cases and summaries.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations detailing financial information, risk profiles, and commercial terms.
  • Structure commercial deal terms for contracts, acquisitions, and projects based on detailed analysis and industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Tax, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury) to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor industry and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Support post-merger/acquisition integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or business administration required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the energy or utility sector.
  • Strong quantitative skills with expertise in financial modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, and business evaluations.
  • Experience conducting due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, or joint ventures.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong writing skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of business operations and regulatory considerations related to investments.
