Job Title: BAS Controls Specialist (Tridium / Distech) - 75% Travel | $140K Salary | Paid Time Off Every 4th Week
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time salaried position offering up to $140,000 annually, with a unique travel schedule of 3 weeks on / 1 week off-and yes, that week off is fully paid, giving you 12 weeks of paid time off per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute BAS projects from start to finish, including programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Program and configure Tridium Niagara systems; experience with Distech Controls or other DDC platforms (Alerton, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Travel to job sites across the region (75% travel), with all expenses covered.
- Maintain documentation, perform system testing, and provide technical support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in BAS controls, with proven ability to program Tridium Niagara systems.
- Experience running your own projects independently, including scheduling and client coordination.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical schematics, and networking protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in the field.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
