Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical engineering, project management, and construction teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Conduct detailed design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Represent the firm in meetings with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) for plan approvals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and MEP standards.
- Expertise in hydronic and refrigeration systems including HVAC, boilers, heat exchangers, and process cooling.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to travel up to 25% and physically access job sites as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in HVAC design and mechanical system studies.
- Active Mechanical PE license.
Location & Work Environment:
This is a remote position. Occasional field visits are required. Candidates should reside within one hour of a major commercial airport to facilitate travel.
