This role is focused on leading a growing mobile water/wastewater treatment solutions business, combining sales, applications engineering, and project execution into a single seat. You will act as the front-facing lead for customers, owning opportunities from initial identification through proposal, contracting, and delivery. The position is highly entrepreneurial, requiring someone who can operate independently, build pipeline, and move quickly on shorter-cycle equipment projects. You will work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure projects are scoped, sold, and executed effectively. The position sits within a global industrial technology organization serving heavy industry customers, with strong emphasis on environmental and water treatment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales development, proposal creation, and execution of mobile equipment projects from start to finish
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities in collaboration with field sales and marketing teams
- Travel with sales teams to support customer engagement, site evaluations, and solution development
- Develop pricing strategies, select appropriate treatment technologies, and maintain knowledge of market trends and competition
- Coordinate internally with engineering, operations, finance, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience
- 3+ years in a customer-facing role within industrial water or wastewater treatment
- Experience with process applications, system design, and technology evaluation
- Background in continuous improvement, process development, or similar methodologies
- Strong ability to operate independently in fast-paced, execution-driven environments
