About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Office Manager to lead our team of geotechnical and environmental professionals. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong background in environmental science, engineering, or geology, and a passion for delivering high-quality remediation solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and client-facing capabilities to help drive our office's success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of office operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and project timelines.
  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, environmental scientists, and field staff.
  • Oversee project execution, quality control, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as a client liaison, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction-even if not bringing an existing book of business.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, business development, and office growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
  • Support proposal development, budgeting, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental remediation or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred but not required.
  • Proven leadership and managerial experience, ideally in a consulting or technical services environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be client-facing and represent the company professionally.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and remediation technologies.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Existing book of business is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in business development or office growth strategy.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
