Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field survey crews on a variety of project types.
- Prepare and review boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title, and construction surveys.
- Perform calculations and analysis for boundary determination, easements, and legal descriptions.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize modern survey equipment and software, including GPS, robotic total stations, and CAD platforms.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the state of Minnesota (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive land surveying experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and other industry-standard tools.
- Strong understanding of legal principles related to land surveying.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
