Position Overview
This firm is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Architect with demonstrated experience in hospitality and mixed-use developments to join their design team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design and documentation for hospitality and mixed-use projects, including hotels, residential towers, retail components, amenities, and public spaces.
  • Develop and refine design concepts, ensuring alignment with client goals, brand standards, and project constraints.
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines across all phases from schematic design to construction administration.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams, including structural, MEP, interiors, landscape, and specialty consultants.
  • Prepare and oversee preparation of construction documents, ensuring technical accuracy, code compliance, and high-quality detailing.
  • Conduct site visits, respond to RFIs, review submittals, and support the project team throughout construction.
  • Facilitate client presentations, design workshops, and stakeholder meetings to communicate design intent and project updates.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting quality, efficiency, and professional growth.
  • Ensure that all project work meets regulatory requirements, local building codes, sustainability goals, and firm standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
  • 6-12+ years of experience in an architectural practice, with a strong portfolio demonstrating hospitality, mixed-use, or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Licensure as a Registered Architect preferred (or actively pursuing).
  • Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, or other visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and project coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience leading mid- to large-scale project teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining design quality and attention to detail.
