A highly respected general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality multifamily projects is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Chicago team. This role offers the chance to work on exciting developments and grow within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities
- Support project management and field teams in day-to-day operations.
- Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion.
Experience Needed
- 2-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
- Proven background in multifamily residential projects.
- Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore or Bluebeam.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
