Project Geologist

Role Overview:
They are seeking a Staff-Level Geologist to support geotechnical and environmental projects. This position offers a mix of office-based analysis and fieldwork, including site investigations, drilling oversight, and data interpretation. You will work closely with senior geologists and engineers to develop practical solutions for diverse challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological investigations, including soil and rock sampling, drilling supervision, and site characterization.
- Collect and analyze geologic and hydrogeologic data to support engineering design and environmental remediation.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Travel to project sites (30-50%) for fieldwork and client engagement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years in geology or related discipline.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (Master's preferred).
- Licensure: Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification preferred.
- Familiarity with geological and environmental principles.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and work effectively in a team environment.
