Project Manager, HVAC
A well-established mechanical contractor in Massachusetts is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work across commercial, institutional, and municipal projects, and offers a highly flexible working model with the ability to work from home up to four days per week.
Role Overview
- Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical / plumbing projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and overall execution
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to company standards
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules and cost tracking
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Handle RFIs, change orders, and procurement processes
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business
- Support project closeout including documentation and financial reconciliation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within mechanical / plumbing / HVAC construction
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or public sector work
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
