About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects in New Zealand. This role offers flexibility to be based in Australia while managing projects across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project execution for solar and renewable EPC projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate procurement, logistics, and resource allocation for project success.
- Lead project reporting and provide regular updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EPC project management within renewable energy (solar preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulatory frameworks in NZ/AU.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel between Australia and New Zealand as required.
