Overview
Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop both traditional and integrated master plans for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
- Perform data analysis related to hydrologic conditions, system flows, water demands, and hydraulic performance
- Develop conceptual plans and associated cost estimates
- Conduct system modeling for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
- Support permitting efforts and alternatives analysis
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and digital deliverables
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Support project delivery, including scope, schedule, and budget management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Approximately 7-15 years of relevant experience in modeling and infrastructure planning
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license
- Demonstrated project management experience, including managing teams, budgets, and schedules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with application of engineering principles
- Familiarity with GIS, CAD tools, and industry-standard hydraulic modeling software
- Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic systems for pressurized and gravity networks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with clients and stakeholders
- Self-motivated and proactive work style
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $125,000 to $160,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors
