About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading project delivery and engineering organization supporting the growth of mission-critical facilities across Southeast Asia. Due to continued expansion in the data center sector, they are seeking an experienced QAQC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities on large-scale data center developments.
This role will be responsible for ensuring all construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet project specifications, industry standards, and client quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain project QAQC plans, procedures, and inspection programs.
- Lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and monitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Oversee inspections, audits, testing activities, and quality documentation across all disciplines.
- Manage material inspections, vendor quality assessments, and site quality control processes.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.
- Track non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful system handover.
- Prepare quality reports, inspections records, and project close-out documentation.
- Foster a strong quality culture across project teams and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of QAQC experience within mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience supporting the delivery of data center projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction quality standards, and inspection processes.
- Familiarity with QAQC procedures, audits, NCR management, and quality documentation.
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, and client-side stakeholders.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience on hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
- Knowledge of international quality standards and best practices.
- Previous experience leading QAQC teams on complex construction projects.
- Regional project exposure within Southeast Asia is advantageous.
