We are seeking an experienced estimator to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on bidding for public stormwater and wet utility projects, with a strong preference for candidates who have a civil/site development background.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive bids for public stormwater and wet utility projects
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure bid accuracy and compliance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess risks in project proposals
- Maintain organized records of bids and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience in estimating for civil/site development projects
- Strong knowledge of stormwater systems and wet utilities
- Familiarity with public bidding processes and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
