Are you a seasoned safety professional with a strong background in substations? A leading engineering and infrastructure firm is seeking a Safety Manager to join their growing team in the Kansas City area. What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage safety programs across substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to integrate safety best practices from project inception through completion.
  • Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of safety excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of substation experience (design, construction, or operations).
  • 5-10+ years of safety experience, ideally in the utility or energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, NESC, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
