Sales Account Executive
A client of mine is looking to bring on a Sales Account Executive to join their growing Business Development team, expanding their customer base and market strategy across the Power Generation and Data Center sectors. This is a new business unit, backed by a well-established Clean Tech Company that develops and manufactures energy recovery systems. This position will play a critical role in building relationships with new and existing customers, as well as crafting market strategy, both here in the US and globally.
Ideal Candidate Criteria & Core Functions of the Role:
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, within energy solutions, data centers, or critical infrastructure, (high preference for experience at a midstream company or technology vendor selling directly to midstream).
- Strong track record of leading contract negotiation, structuring, and closing deals within these sectors.
- Deep knowledge of alternative energy solutions, microgrids, renewable integration, Virtual Power Plants (VPP), and Distributed Energy Resources (DER).
- Ability to identify new business opportunities in the Midstream and C&I power markets and build high-level relationships with midstream and energy transition leadership at these companies (power generation and data center sectors).
- Understand the technology (Turboexpanders and microgrids) and tailor advanced solutions to client's needs.
- Develop detailed proposals featuring ROI calculations, cost-benefit analyses, and deployment timelines in collaboration with engineering and finance teams.
