Role Overview
As a SCADA Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for our renewable energy assets. You will ensure seamless integration of control systems, monitor performance, and support operational excellence across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for wind, solar, and storage facilities.
- Develop and implement communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize plant control strategies.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support during commissioning and ongoing operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with SCADA systems in the energy sector (renewable preferred).
- Proficiency in SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, GE, Siemens).
- Strong knowledge of networking, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for industrial control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
