About the Role
We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy to identify a strong Senior Civil Designer (or above) with proven experience in water and wastewater treatment design. This is a priority replacement hire and an opportunity to step into a high‑impact role delivering major water infrastructure projects across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver civil design packages for water and wastewater treatment plants
- Produce accurate drawings and models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across planning, design, and project delivery
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to design improvements
- Ensure design compliance with Australian standards and client requirements
Requirements
- Essential experience in water or wastewater treatment design
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Background in civil design for water infrastructure (treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, etc.)
- Experience at Senior Civil Designer level or above
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
