Senior Civil Project Manager

Overview:

Our client is a well‑established national civil engineering and land development firm with an active and established client base throughout Southern California. They are seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to support a steady flow of ongoing work while also helping expand their Los Angeles-area footprint. This role will focus on leading land development projects across commercial and industrial developments, serving as a key point of contact for clients, and supporting the continued growth of the regional practice. This position offers the opportunity to step into a leadership role immediately while playing a meaningful part in shaping the future of the Southern California operation.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $150,000-$200,000 base salary and annual performance‑based bonuses

Key Qualifications:

  • California PE License required
  • 10+ years of civil engineering experience with a strong focus on land development
  • Proven ability to manage projects from early planning and entitlements through design and construction support
  • Experience supporting an established client base while contributing to new work development
  • Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and internal project teams
  • Business development experience, including proposal support, scope development, budgeting, and fee negotiation
  • Experience supervising and mentoring engineering staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong technical background with the ability to contribute across grading, drainage, utilities, and site design
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with Southern California permitting processes, agency coordination, and regional regulatory requirements
