Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment and is passionate about mentoring junior engineers while leading complex design projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design efforts for commercial and institutional projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and other disciplines to ensure project goals are met.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance and resolve field issues.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with NEC and other relevant codes and standards.
