Electrical Senior Project Manager - Healthcare, Data Center, Commercial & Industrial Projects
Location: New Jersey
Salary Range: $120,000 to $200,000

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale construction projects across healthcare, data center, commercial, and industrial sectors in New Jersey. This role requires a strategic leader with deep technical knowledge in electrical systems and a proven track record of delivering mission-critical projects on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for managing all phases of electrical construction, from pre-construction planning through project closeout, while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead electrical scopes of work across multiple high-value projects.
  • Oversee planning, procurement, execution, and closeout phases.
  • Ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards.

Execution Planning

  • Develop detailed electrical execution plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, especially those related to electrical safety and code compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to NEC, NFPA, and local regulations.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and approve invoices.
  • Provide regular financial updates and variance reports.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary electrical point of contact for clients, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to support project success and future opportunities.

Team Development

  • Mentor junior project managers and electrical engineers.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Change Management

  • Lead the evaluation and negotiation of electrical change orders.
  • Ensure all scope changes are documented and financially accounted for.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years managing healthcare, data center, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and commissioning processes.
  • Proven leadership in managing large teams and complex project schedules.
  • Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
