Senior Forensic Accountant
A leading global forensic accounting firm is seeking a Spanish-speaking Senior Forensic Accountant to join their Fort Lauderdale office. This is a hybrid role, offering the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, while collaborating with international teams on high-impact assignments.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a seasoned forensic accountant with deep expertise in business interruption and economic loss quantification. You will play a key role in analyzing complex financial data, preparing expert reports, and supporting clients through insurance claims and litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead forensic investigations related to business interruption, loss of income, and extra expenses.
- Analyze financial records, operational data, and insurance policies to assess and quantify losses.
- Prepare detailed, defensible reports and present findings to clients, insurers, and legal teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues across international offices on multi-jurisdictional assignments.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of internal methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- CPA, CFE or equivalent professional designation.
- Minimum 5 years of forensic accounting experience, with a strong focus on business interruption.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Experience working with insurers, loss adjusters, or in litigation support is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
