I'm currently hiring for one of the largest and most respected geotechnical engineering firms in Pennsylvania. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a collaborative team working on high-profile land development and infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be involved in designing foundations, retaining walls, and excavation support systems, while also contributing to technical reports and field investigations. This role offers a mix of office-based design work and hands-on field experience, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design deep foundations, earth structures, and excavation support systems
- Coordinate and oversee geotechnical investigations and construction inspections
- Assist project managers with fieldwork and project coordination
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and field documentation
- Conduct site visits and fieldwork as required
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of geotechnical experience, including field inspections and investigations
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Familiarity with software such as gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, LPILE, GRLWEAP, MSEW, SHAKE
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
