Senior Geotechnical Engineer
We're looking for a seasoned Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and grow a dynamic geotechnical division based in Houston, Texas. Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical engineering efforts across diverse projects
- Develop proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee field investigations and guide technical staff
- Conduct geotechnical exploration and analysis
- Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations
- Maintain and expand client relationships across sectors
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Contribute to strategic planning and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., lab testing, inspections)
- Support occasional office administration tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of geotechnical experience in Texas
- Strong foundation in soil mechanics and engineering geology
- Familiarity with materials testing and special inspections
- Proven leadership in project management and team development
- Established client relationships and business development success
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Valid Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

- Experience leading complex geotechnical projects
