The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to play a key technical role within a rapidly scaling organization. This is a primarily remote role, ideal for an engineer who excels in geotechnical analysis, report writing, and delivering foundation recommendations across diverse project types in a private sector.
You'll work from home, with 3-4 travel days per month for team collaboration, office visits, and strategic project touchpoints.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, review, and finalize geotechnical engineering reports
- Conduct subsurface evaluations, data analysis, and engineering recommendations
- Develop foundation design and ground improvement recommendations for:
- Residential developments
- Pharmaceutical/biotech facilities
- Cell tower & telecom infrastructure
- Commercial and residential structures
- Contribute technical leadership as the firm continues its expansion
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
- 5-15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience (flexible depending on skillset)
- Strong background in geotechnical analysis, reporting, and foundation recommendations
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent written communication and report‑writing skills
- PE license in FL
- Strong Knowledge of Florida Geology
