What You'll Do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll lead the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of complex mechanical systems. You'll collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-performance solutions for clients in industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, and advanced manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and implementation of HVAC and mechanical systems including chilled water, steam, gas, refrigeration, compressed air, and process air systems.
  • Oversee project phases from concept through commissioning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Travel to client sites for design meetings, installation oversight, and commissioning support.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive experience in industrial HVAC and mechanical systems design, ideally from a consulting engineering firm or design/build contractor.
  • Strong understanding of fluid systems, thermodynamics, and mechanical infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project scopes.
  • Experience with fire suppression, plumbing, and PLC control systems is a plus.
  • Prior experience with mechanical contracting is beneficial but not required.
