Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Lead Engineer on plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building types.
  • Develop designs using Revit and other BIM tools; proficiency or willingness to become proficient in Revit is essential.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply technical expertise to ensure code compliance and system performance.
  • Contribute to project documentation, specifications, and construction administration.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design for buildings.
  • Strong understanding of applicable codes (NFPA, state and federal/UFC codes).
  • Experience with public and private bid projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • PE license preferred or in progress.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
