Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Lead Engineer on plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building types.
- Develop designs using Revit and other BIM tools; proficiency or willingness to become proficient in Revit is essential.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Apply technical expertise to ensure code compliance and system performance.
- Contribute to project documentation, specifications, and construction administration.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design for buildings.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes (NFPA, state and federal/UFC codes).
- Experience with public and private bid projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred.
- PE license preferred or in progress.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
